Audio Mixing Portfolio
Radio Show Final (DVA140)
For this assignment, I produced and mixed a complete 10-minute radio broadcast entirely on my own. The project required planning and recording dialogue, selecting music clips, integrating a PSA, and presenting a community event segment. I refined audio levels, ensured tonal consistency, and structured the show to meet strict timing requirements. This piece demonstrates my competency in organizing, mixing, and producing broadcast-style audio with clarity, balance, and professional pacing.
Alien World
For this project, I created an original alien world soundscape by layering and editing custom audio elements using Adobe Audition. I focused on building atmosphere, depth, and environmental storytelling through sound design, experimenting with texture, timing, and spatial balance to create an immersive audio experience. The final piece demonstrates my ability to design original soundscapes, layer and manipulate audio, and use professional audio editing workflows to convey mood and world-building through sound alone.
Anural Spaces
For this project, I created an ambient audio environment designed to evoke the atmosphere of a dinner party by layering environmental sound, dialogue textures, and music using Adobe Audition. Unlike my alien soundscape project, this piece focused on realism and mood, blending natural audio elements with music to create a believable and immersive social environment. I explored how volume balance, timing, and audio layering influence perception and emotional tone, using sound design to suggest space, activity, and presence. The final mix demonstrates my ability to design realistic audio environments, integrate music thoughtfully, and execute polished audio post-production workflows.
