Tutorial: Chase Footage Editing

Project Description
For this DVA274 assignment, I followed a guided tutorial to edit a fast-paced chase sequence using provided footage, sound effects, and music. Working in my NLE, I practiced timing, rhythm, and continuity techniques specific to action editing, focusing on matching movement between shots and building momentum. The final deliverable was a 960×540 video file combining video, SFX, and music into a cohesive, fully edited action sequence.
Fulfilling Objective 5
By independently editing the chase sequence and integrating sound effects and music, I demonstrated competency in key post-production roles such as timing-focused editing, audio layering, and visual refinement. This project required me to use industry-standard tools to shape motion continuity, adjust pacing, and balance the audio mix, reflecting my ability to perform essential field-production tasks within a professional editing workflow.
