VR Imaginarium - Mission Critical: Escape!

Project Description
For my Production Studio course, I served as one of the Creative Leads on VR Imaginarium – Mission Critical: Escape!, a three-month collaborative project designed to simulate a real studio production environment. Our team was divided into two departments—the Technology Team and the Creative Team—and I was part of the Creative Team responsible for shaping the narrative experience. Over the course of the project, I worked closely with my peers to develop a cohesive and engaging story for the VR ride simulator, while personally creating all of the project’s storyboards and key concept art.
Fulfilling Objective 1
This project required consistent communication, collaboration, and deadline-driven production across two coordinated teams. As a Creative Lead, I helped translate our team’s narrative goals into clear visual deliverables—including storyboards and concept art—that supported the overall needs of the VR ride simulator. Working within a structured, multi-month timeline and responding to feedback throughout the process demonstrated my ability to contribute to a professional, client-focused media project from concept through completion.
Fulfilling Objective 2
Developing this VR experience required an understanding of the technical and creative specifications unique to immersive media. My pre-production work—including storyboards, visual pacing, and concept art—was guided by the needs of the VR medium, ensuring that the narrative, visuals, and motion cues aligned with the format’s requirements. By tailoring design choices to match the intended interactive experience, I demonstrated the ability to make informed, medium-appropriate decisions throughout the creative process.
